1. Initial Consultation
Meet with Tim to discuss your vision, requirements and goals for your new home. This is an opportunity to get to know each other, talk through your ideas and understand how Concept 2 Construction can bring your project to life. We genuinely enjoy getting to know the people we build for – it helps us make the experience personal, enjoyable and stress-free.
2. Design Brief & Budget
We develop a comprehensive design brief tailored to your requirements, supported by an initial budget estimate. This provides clarity and ensures you can work confidently with your selected architect or designer, knowing the scope and costs are aligned from the start.
3. Preliminary Quote
Following consultation, we present a preliminary quotation enabling you to refine scope and cost before progressing to final working drawings. Our experience in architectural construction allows us to prepare accurate, transparent proposals that reflect the true scope of work required – every detail from materials and subcontractors to labour hours is carefully considered.
4. Pre-Construction Meeting
Before construction begins, we sit down together for a detailed pre-construction meeting. We’ll confirm your start and completion dates, run through the full build schedule, and outline key meetings, walkthroughs and selection deadlines. You’ll know exactly what to expect and when.

5. Weekly Onsite Meetings
Once construction begins, we hold weekly onsite meetings with everyone involved in the build. These ensure clear communication, keep everyone on the same page and give you full visibility over progress. You’ll always know what stage we’re at, which trades are onsite, and what’s coming next.
6. Trade Introductions
We’ll introduce you to each subcontractor working on your home, so you know exactly who’s there and what they’re doing. No surprises, no confusion – just open communication and trusted professionals who take pride in their work.
7. Monthly Financial Reviews
Your monthly meeting is an opportunity to examine your budget and how the job is tracking. We provide clear, itemised invoicing aligned with your progress payment schedule, along with a detailed payment tracker showing every dollar spent and how much remains on your project. You’ll always know where your money is going.
8. Handover & Documentation
At completion, we present you with a spotless, move-in ready home. You’ll receive full documentation, warranties and guidance on maintaining your new home. We conduct a thorough walkthrough to ensure everything meets your expectations – because our goal is for you to feel supported, listened to and completely satisfied.
